Maybe We Can Be Friends Now
Anyone familiar with people addicted to drugs will know, at this point in the post, the basics of what I’m going to write. My words are reminders of a time when they foolishly believed once they were doing well they could bring their peers along in order to jointly pursue a common purpose of getting ahead–and they’d smile to themselves at the sort of thing that might (might) be funny in retrospect. Depending upon how much was stolen.
