If you edit your picture in dny sy Such as making it larger, or smaller, or using one of the make up apps, you will find that the computer is no longer able to recognize the face. In other words by doing anything to your picture the computer will be unable to recognize that there is any face whatsoever. So if you want to fort facial recognition apps alter your pictures and even a modest way and I do believe from personal experience you can get around facial recognition.
